The summer session will be based on the lovely children's book The Shabbat Box. In each class we will make another piece for our own Shabbat boxes (candlesticks, kiddush cups, challah covers) and learn about Shabbat. The last class will be a pot-luck Shabbat dinner at a local park.
This class is limited to 5 children and their adults, in an effort to create a fun, intimate learning environment. (Dads, grandparents or nannies are welcome, despite the program's name!)
